Hi! I’m Caroline. I’m a Rhode Island and Maine-based documentary photographer with a love of telling authentic stories. My photos are quiet, candid, and always grounded by a strong sense of place. As a photojournalistic style shooter, I aim to be as unobtrusive on a wedding day as possible, and hone in on what feels natural for each couple that I work with. My goal is to create a curated body of timeless, effortless images that will recall the feeling - as well as the moments - of a wedding day for years to come.
Having spent the better part of my professional career in the wedding industry (first as a floral assistant for Sayles Livingston Design, then as the editor of the Southern New England Weddings blog, and as a lead and secondary shooter for weddings throughout New England), I have a unique perspective and experience informing my work. I make myself available to couples throughout the planning process, so that we can come up with a wedding day timeline that leaves ample room for photos, without feeling like photography is taking over the day.
I take particular pride in tailoring each wedding contract to a couple’s unique situation, rather than offering photography packages. If you think you want to work with me, please get in touch so that we can schedule an initial meeting. I'd love to hear more about what you’ve planned so far, and what you want to get our of your wedding photography. From there, I can create a preliminary photography timeline and estimate specific to your wedding day and your needs.
Thanks so much for your interest in my work, and congratulations on your engagement! I look forward to hearing from you.
